Memory here is the classic concentration card game: a face-down grid and pairs of matching symbols. Flip one card, then a second. If the symbols match they stay face-up. If not, both flip back and you remember the places for the next turn. Clear every pair to finish the board.

Three sizes change how long a round lasts. Easy is a 4x3 grid with six pairs. Medium, the default, is 4x4 with eight pairs. Hard is 6x4 with twelve pairs. Each new game shuffles the same symbol set with a seed so a layout can be rebuilt. Card faces use Kenney Animal Pack Remastered round pictures (panda, dog, chick, and more). A Food theme uses Kenney Food Kit pictures. Not pixel art.

On a phone you tap a card to flip it. The score, moves, timer, and buttons sit in HTML above the board, not painted on the WebGL canvas, so the targets stay at least 44 pixels. At a desk you click, or move a cursor with the arrow keys and flip with Space or Enter. There is no on-screen joystick. Mute stays on the shell Back/Mute row.

Score rewards fewer moves and a faster time, with a small leftover-peek bonus. When the last pair locks in, InstantGameBox posts the score with onGameOver and your personal best lives on the this device. The game never writes scores to localStorage. A mid-run board — layout, face-up and matched cards, moves, timer, and difficulty — can come back through saveProgress if you leave and return.

You get two free peeks per game. A peek briefly shows two unmatched cards of the same pair. If a rewarded ad is available after those run out, you can watch one for another peek.
